The Qualifications of Marc Alonso GG,NGJA

Graduate Gemologist of the Gemological Institute of America Santa Monica California 1984. Senior Member of the National Association of Jewelry Appraisers since 1985.

Marc Alonso is engaged as an independent appraiser of gems and jewelry for private clientele, banks, insurance companies ,law firms and Federal, State and local Law Enforcement Agencies. He has also served as an Expert witness in Federal and State Court and has represented the State of Texas Consumer Commission as an expert witness. As a Gem Lab Manager, Marc Alonso conducted appraisals for USAA.
Marc Alonso is Certified in Grading Diamonds, Colored Stones and Gem Identification. He is a Expert Jewelry designer with works commissioned by other jewelers, work requested by Universities, High Schools, and different organizations throughout the United States. Mr. Alonso maintains a fully accredited gemological laboratory according to the standards of the NAJA.
